Zubuike not only received his ‘Green Card’ but also did so in what seemed like record time, waiting just four months.
He shared his journey in a viral TikTok video, explaining how everything went smoothly.
“When something that is known to take years turns into months, you know it’s not by strength, planning, or strategy, but only by the grace of God. I entered the United States (USA) with ESTA. No fiancé visa. No shortcuts. No lawyer. Just the truth, preparation, organization, my husband, wisdom, and God. I didn’t know how long the process would take, but it moved at an unusual speed,” he shared.
How long should a Green Card take?
From submitting the necessary documents to taking her biometrics and attending the Green Card interview, Victoria said the entire process took just a few weeks.
He noted that there was no intense interview, as everything went well until the end.
“We had a very good interviewer and the best interactions with other team members. Nothing scary at all, quite the opposite. And then God did what only He can do; He added grace on top. My husband booked a trip abroad before the interview and paid for it. If you know the process, you cannot leave the United States until your card arrives here under any circumstances, and our trip is in two weeks. Yes, it sounds crazy, but we serve the real and living God. Your card can take one month to come,” he added.
Victoria said that sometimes God asks people to take a step of faith instead of relying on fear or public opinion.
Victoria talks about visiting Atlanta
He emphasized that faith must be accompanied by action and preparation.
“In the last two years of having a long journey between the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States, from taking a step of faith to visiting Atlanta for the first time without knowing anyone, but believing that this is where I needed to be to achieve my dreams and my full potential, God led me the way. I fell in love with the man I knew I wanted to spend my life with, and everything went together. Even our interviewer looked at the date and said, ‘Wow, this has changed so fast. God loves you.’ As God did for me, He can do for you. All glory to Jesus, forever,” he concluded.
In the video, Victoria was seen happily jumping out of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services offices, her documents in hand.
He raised his hands in praise, filled with gratitude for the achievement.
