Baby James, as social media users affectionately called him, witnessed the murder of his biological father, Michael, a construction worker.

What happened to James’ biological father?

The hard-working man was stabbed by unknown assailants in the Mathare 4A area early one morning when he was taking his three-year-old son James to school.

James watched helplessly as his father breathed his last at the hands of thugs, just meters from the place he once called home.

The little boy was left an orphan, with no one to take care of him, as his father had raised him as a single parent since he was only three months old.

Did Mike Sonko arrange Baby James?

When James’ story went viral on the internet, the former governor of Nairobi Mike Sonko he was very touched and decided to adopt him. Sonko promised to look after James as his own son, a responsibility he met with great pride and honour.

A year later, the transformation of Baby James has surprised many. He is now healthy, happy, and living a life of luxury that many could only dream of.

Where did Sonko take Baby James on holiday?

The politician recently took the boy on vacation, sharing snippets of their experiences on the plane and during their trip.

Sonko happily interacted with James, who was peaceful, independent, and enjoying life with his new father.

In a video shared online, James was seen playing in the snow with other children, mostly white, highlighting how life can sometimes change for the better even after terrible events.

However, the politician did not reveal their whereabouts, leaving many to speculate. James ran around in the snow, enjoying life outside.

Sonko shared moments from their time together, even mentioning that Baby James had asked for a Lamborghini.
