The Gunners are still in contention for four titles and can qualify for tonight’s Carabao Cup final if they win Chelsea.
The league leaders presided over a controversial and intense transfer window before the start of the season where the likes of Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres thrived.
This, along with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz returning from long-term layoffs, gave Arteta a long lasting squad.
The only new signings they made in January were minor when they brought in youngsters Jaden Dixon from Stoke City and Evan Mooney from St.Mirren.
Who has left Arsenal?
However, the exit section had many players who left on loan or on a permanent transfer.
At the top of the list is Oleksandr Zinchenko, who left on a permanent contract to join Ajax. The Dutch giants paid around £1.3 million (KSh 229 million) to sign the Ukrainian, who Arsenal bought from Manchester City.
“To the Gunners. I will never forget how you welcomed me. I still remember the heartbeat I got at the first game after hearing your song “Daima aminiiiiiiieeeve”. I could not even dream about it. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to express my sincere thanks for everything you have done for my family,” part of his departure message read on Instagram.
20-year-old defender Maldini Kacurri has also joined Grimsby Town on a permanent deal, while Osman Kamara has joined Blackburn Rovers.
In a temporary transfer, exciting youngster Ethan Nwaneri was allowed to join Marseille in search of more playing time. Nwaneri saw his participation reduced after the club signed Eze.
“I think the talented young players that we have need minutes, and in this case, Ethan didn’t have enough minutes, and the last thing we want is to slow down his development because he is a talent and someone who lives and breathes football; that is his life,” said Arteta when Nwaneri left via the club’s website.

However, the Red Devils released 9 players but prevented the transfer of Tyrell Malacia at the last minute to Besiktas.
Malacia’s transfer was blocked after Patrick Dorgu’s injury, leaving Luke Shaw as the only fit left-back.
