The Ministry of Health is under fresh criticism after reports emerged that the country lost KSh 11 billion in just six months due to fraud.
Despite putting in place strict procedures and a secure IT system to protect contributions from Kenyan workers, billions were still stolen through bogus operations and alleged promotions, with the connivance of some Kenyan workers. SHA.
Duale revealed that some private health centers were forcing pregnant women to undergo unnecessary surgeries during delivery to increase the money demands.

After that, the host asked Duale to explain where the missing money is before leaving the studio.
“Where is the money? Kenyans don’t understand,” Jeff said.

Jeff then told Duale that he had refused to resign despite allegations of theft at SHA.
“How to resign? Why should I resign? You know, there is a reason why someone should resign,” Duale said.
Jeff reminded Duale that in another country he would be in trouble.
“Certainly, CS, in any developed country, if a headline like this had been written, the Minister of Health would have resigned. Even in China, you would be in prison today.”
“Why?” Duale was surprised.
