Armed with hammers, they broke walls, windows, and doors before holding his wife at gunpoint, demanding to know her whereabouts.

Then they took off her blouse, photographed her, and questioned why she married a Muganda who dared to oppose President Yoweri Museveni.

Barbie was rushed to St. Hospital. Francis Nsambya in Kampala for treatment.

Muhoozi promised what action?

Speaking about allegations of abuse against him by UPDF soldiers, Muhoozi said action would be taken against them if they were found guilty.

He said the soldiers were well trained in how to deal with women and therefore any brutality of Barbie would not be tolerated.

“If any soldier even tries to touch Barbie, he will be severely punished! All our soldiers have been briefed on how to handle women. Give us more details,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bobi is still hiding while the Ugandan security agencies are looking for him.

It is not known why they want him.

Muhoozi had announced that they wanted him, dead or alive.

The soldiers continue to occupy his house, preventing anyone trying to access it, including Bobi’s relatives.

Access to the house is completely restricted, and even family members who bring essential supplies such as food are not allowed to enter.

Why Bobi Wine opposed Museveni’s victory

Bobi Wine challenged the legitimacy of Museveni’s victory in the seventh term, saying that the January 15 presidential election was full of mistakes.

Running on the NUP ticket in his second bid for the presidency, he claimed that the process was neither free nor fair.

He accused the Electoral Commission in Kampala of facilitating wrongdoing that ultimately favored Museveni.

The Electoral Commission of Uganda declared Museveni the winner of the presidential election on January 17, after obtaining 7,944,772 votes, which is 71.61 percent of all valid votes.

Bobi, his closest rival, got 2,741,238 votes, representing 24.72 percent of the vote.
