In an interview on Tuesday night, January 27, Member of Parliament for the East African Parliament (EALA), Winnie Odinga, accused Salah of allegedly using Raila’s death for his personal gain.
Winnie described Salah as dishonest and selfish, saying he deserved to be in a police station or mental hospital.
Later, a poster was circulated by Obinna TV indicating that the businessman would do an interview on Monday, February 2, to answer the allegations made by Winnie.

However, Salah issued a statement denying the allegations, saying he will not attend the interview on Obinna TV.
“I would like to clarify that I did not discuss any interview with Oga Obinna, and I will not attend that interview. Today I had a respectful conversation with my sister from Migori, Mr. Ambassador Min Piny, Mama Ida Odinga,” said Salah.
He says he is looking for peace and respect
Salah downplayed his differences with Winnie, insisting that he considers her like his little sister, and that the important thing now is to maintain respect and peace.
“Winnie Odinga is like a little sister to me and I have no problem with her. At this time, respect and peace are the most important. May Father’s soul rest in eternal peace,” he added.
The businessman previously said he would not oppose Winnie just because he respects his mother, Ida Odinga.
However, he defended his statement about his relationship with Raila, and promised to do an interview to explain his truth.
