A family in Mlolongo, Machakos County, has been left devastated following the deaths of three children.
The three children identified as Adrian Ochieng (4), Kyla Ann (1) and Keilah Kerubo (1) they were allegedly poisoned by their mother, Linet Munala.
The mother reportedly poisoned their food on Monday, January 26, before fleeing the scene.
Alex Oyieyo, a heartbroken father, could not contain his pain as he tried to address the newsmen about the incident.
He seemed to be shaking and very sad, he opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Instead, he fell into tears, letting out a loud cry of grief.

He covered his eyes with his hands to try to stifle the sobs, but the pain was too great, leaving those around him in shock.
Unable to speak further, a relative stepped forward to address the press on his behalf.
