Video shared Monday, January 26, on TikTok shows the founder of Newlife Church, Pastor Ezekiel Odero, talking to a member who had an unusual request.

During the session in which believers are given a microphone, the woman prayed that she wanted the man she was dating to be made a special prayer but with one difference: the man is married, and he is her secret lover.
“I’m a side project, and I’ve brought the papers of my married lover for you to pray for. He had surgery after an accident.”
“So I should pray for him to recover and return to his wife, and then you die?” Ezekiel asked.

The woman protested while the believers laughed.
“Also pray for him to get a position at work,” he said.
Ezekiel was surprised by his honesty.
“Where do you get the courage to steal someone’s husband and then still pray for him? How would you feel if someone stole your husband?” Ezekiel asked.
The woman defended herself saying that it was the man who followed her, not the one who started her.
“If a married man follows you, do you just agree? If I asked you to be my sidekick, would you just agree?” he asked her.
The woman said no.
“I have a question,” he said, and Ezekiel let him ask, saying he liked his curiosity.
“There are people here who pretend to be saints,” he added.
Then the woman explained how she related to the married man.
“I am tired of life. I had refused for a long time, but life forced me. I have been with him for seven months.”

“If you say we should leave married men, while there are more women than men, where will we go?”
