Was Saye’s boy sick?
According to a TV47 report, the boy was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The police report stated that the deceased did not have any health problems that led to his sudden death.
His body was transferred to the mortuary for storage and laboratory examination, while funeral preparations are underway.
Detectives began an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
What did Kenyans say about the incident at Saye Secondary School?
Elly Okumu: “Rest in peace, young man, and may God intervene.”
Betty Akinyi: “It is good that they have started an investigation, but how far will it go? We have witnessed many cases like this, but no report has ever been made public. I hope this will be different. I feel sorry for the boy’s parents.”
Otieno Calvo: “I have read about an incident like this in a certain school in Kiambu. When the government sets strict rules for education, they should also consider the health of students. These cases are everywhere, and since there is no attention in the investigation, no parent ever gets justice.”
Marion Kwamboka: “I hope the Othaya incident cannot be used as an excuse not to give justice to the boy’s parents. A friend of mine once lost his son due to negligence at school. It was shocking. May the young boy rest in peace.”
However, school deaths are not a new case in the country.
