Residents of Nyabiosi village in Gesima ward, Kitutu Masaba County, Nyamira, have remained in fear after waking up and encountering a strange device in their residence.

The object was discovered by John Momanyi, who woke up early in the morning to check on his chickens, but found the device missing at night.
He explained that the strange object was wrapped in a plastic bag, and he could not say what it was or where it came from.
“I woke up in the morning, ready to start my usual activities. I went to our chicken house and found things that were very strange. I looked carefully but I did not recognize them. They were very suspicious,” he said.
Momanyi informed her parents, who were also unable to identify the items, despite examining them carefully.
He admitted that he was afraid, doubting that the strange thing could bring danger to him, his family, and even to society in general.
“We decided to call the village elder and inform him about the incident. He came to the area but he could not say what it was,” said Momanyi.

The man contacted the chief, who later called in bomb experts Poisonous.
The Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) bomb squad arrived at the scene to determine what the object was and possibly trace its origin.
In photos and videos shared online, residents were seen gathering around Momanyi’s house, which was surrounded by police ropes.
The bomb disposal squad carefully examined the device as residents anxiously awaited answers.
The object contained wires and a strange device, all housed in a white plastic bag.
