“There was no such meeting. There was no meeting called by Mama Ida. There was no meeting. There was a meeting we were supposed to have with the leader of the party, Secretary General Sifuna and I along with Mhazini Bosire. But because the leader of the party was held in Western Kenya, he went to the funeral in Nyanza. He said we should have a meeting on Sunday of the Central Committee. He said, ‘Let’s hold a meeting on Sunday evening.’ But the meeting did not happen. It didn’t happen; The Secretary General was not there,” he explained.

As reported, Osotsi put senior leaders of the party in the limelight, lambasting them for not heeding the call for unity given by the elder of the party and former leader of the party, the late Raila OdingaMother Ida Odinga.
