Gospel singer Emmy Magale has narrated how she found out that her husband was cheating and the drastic measures she took in an effort to protect her marriage.

The gospel pastor recalled how, despite finding out about her then husband’s affairs, she did not bother to fight for their marriage.

In an interview with NTVMagale also revealed that she took her husband’s sidekick on a date to plead with him not to end her marriage.

“As soon as I found out that my husband was cheating, that was it. I left there emotionally, and I was only there because of the child. I am an overthinker. There was a time when he could be emotionally distant, and I would wonder if it was because I have a small child. But one day, I saw on his phone that he was cheating with someone very close to me,” she said.

According to Magale, she found out that her husband was not only cheating with one person, but also tried to confront him.

“He tells the other that your finger deserves an expensive ring. And remember, I don’t have his ring. I was only there because of the child. He wasn’t even trying to save the marriage. He was on the side of another woman. One day I went out as I was going to the market, I left my phone, and that’s what happened,” he said further.

When asked how she dealt with her sidekick, she noted how women deal with women whose men cheat on them.

“I took him out, begging him not to continue the relationship, then he told me that ‘he was not married and that he was only there because you got pregnant. And that he is taking care of the child and that at some point you will be separated, it is because you do not have a job’. I was very traumatized. He would return home, and I would look at him. I was fighting for someone who was not fighting for me,” he added.

Magale recalled how, when she was in labor, she tried to ask him to take her to the hospital, but her husband told her that he was busy.

“He was busy filming another woman. When I gave birth, he didn’t come to pick me up. He was busy. A few months before I gave birth, he told me he didn’t have cash and that I should find a way to give birth. So I think the deception started before I had a baby,” he said.

The musician once told his story of betrayal after providing housing and financial support for his boyfriend, Dave, for two years when he was unemployed.

During their relationship, he sponsored various projects in his village and even bought construction materials and cows to surprise his family, only to discover that a traditional wedding ceremony was already underway at his home.

She eventually found out that the man was using her money to pay another woman’s dowry, prompting her to return the gifts and end the relationship.
