The founder of Neno Evangelism Centre, Pastor James Ng’ang’a has dared the government to demolish his church.

Reports indicated that Neno Evangelism Center has been marked for demolition.
In a video that surfaced on social media, he threatened the government to try to demolish his church.
He indicated that he knew there were plans to demolish his kaisa and claimed that he had bought the plot from the government.
Ng’ang’a did not give details of how he found out that officials had marked his church for demolition.

The pastor said that he was ready to fight the destruction and would fight for his rights.
“Every year I hear someone say that they will come to demolish this place, just to steal it. It was not given to me; I bought it from the government. This is not my hut; this is the house of the Lord. We will leave it for others to worship the Lord,” he said.

How did Ng’ang’a get the land of Neno Evangelism Centre?
The pastor’s church was put on the list by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) among plots illegally divided from Kenya Railways land in 2024.
He explained how he acquired the ownership of the land in 2004 and sent money to the Central Bank of Kenya.
Ng’ang’a said that he completed the payment in 2008.
