A mother from Kenya found herself in a strange situation when her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend unexpectedly attended her daughter’s graduation.

The problem was that everyone was convinced that he was the only man supporting the family, and no one knew that another would exist.
Achieng cooperates with the father to raise the child
Achieng told TUKO.co.ke that although she and her baby’s father were separated, they had maintained a good parenting plan together.
He always paid school fees, offered help whenever needed, and even sent extra money unsolicited.
“He always took care of the baby,” she said. “Sometimes I would ask for a little something and he would send more. He didn’t need to be pushed.”
But behind the scenes, Achieng had woven an intricate web. Her boyfriend was also sending money for school fees, believing her claim that the baby’s father had abandoned them and was not involved at all.
The point where confusion began to reach Achieng
He stepped into the father role wholeheartedly, paying the bills, supporting the child, and believing he was the sole provider.
Worse, Achieng had lied to her that she didn’t even have her ex-boyfriend’s phone number. “My boyfriend thought he was the only one who helped us.
He could visit my house at any time and he had never met my little father, so he had complete confidence,” he admitted. Graduation day was supposed to be easy.
Both men had sent their congratulatory messages and money for the party without hinting that they would attend. But the drama started when Achieng’s phone rang during the party.

How Achieng’s problems began
The first call came from his girlfriend, announcing that he was at the school gate. He ran to receive him, delighted by the surprise, and even brought him to stay with his family.
He had come with a gift for the girl. Thirty minutes later, a second call came in, this time from her young father.
“I thought he was just coming in,” he said. “But he also told me he was at the gate and wanted me to pick him up!”
It was then that the panic began. The two men, both helping him financially and both believing that they were the only father, had arrived at the same event.
How Achieng separated the men
What followed was a fast and stressful balancing act. Achieng had to try to face them without letting their paths cross.
She ran across the school grounds with excuses, relying on her sisters to hold back one man while she attended to another, and carefully planned her movements to avoid a nasty confrontation.
Her heart raced in the ceremony as she alternated between the two, pretending to take things or talk to the teachers while secretly separating the men.
“How I got through that day without any of them seeing each other is a miracle,” he said. “It’s a story that needs a whole page to tell!”
At the end of the ceremony, both men left satisfied, not knowing how they came so close to each other, and realizing the truth.
For Achieng, that day was a turning point. She admits that the experiment forced her to reflect on the double life she had created and the emotional pressure of confusing two men who falsely supported her.
“It was exciting, stressful, and really a lesson for me,” he admitted. “I don’t want to go through something like that again.”

This is not the first time for Achieng to meet his ex-boyfriend. On another occasion, she was surprised to discover that the head teacher who accepted her daughter to school was her younger father.
What started out as shock and disbelief ended in an emotional meeting, with her father apologizing and embracing the daughter he had never known.
In return for a fee and promised support, she gave the child to the man who abandoned them when she was only one month old.
