Karatina, Nyeri: The wife of the murdered businessman George Matheri is heartbroken telling how she found out about the news of her beloved husband’s death and now she is completely defeated and left alone.

George was allegedly killed after police shot him four times at close range, when the two argued at a petrol station.

A CCTV camera video showed how a police constable who is currently in custody shot a businessman from Karatina at a petrol station.

The area was chaotic despite the efforts of one citizen to intervene during the violent crisis.

Bodaboda operators and locals quickly gathered in the area after the sad incident when the suspect and his companion left.

“I am very sorry about what happened last night. I can’t believe that my husband is no more. I am looking for my husband’s justice,” said George’s wife with tears.

Currently, the police officer is in custody; he was arrested after allegedly shooting and killing a businessman in Karatina.

The bereaved family is very sorry and claims that the officer shot George Gathu Matheri four times, but the police asked for more time to investigate.
