Governor of Kirinyaga, Anne Waiguruwas very happy during his son’s traditional wedding ceremony.

The politician gave Kenyans a glimpse into his personal life when he shared a video from his son’s lavish wedding.
The video begins with a high view of the wedding ceremony before moving on to the groom and his beautiful bride, Joan.
In another clip, Waiguru was seen wiping his son-in-law’s eyes with a cloth while laughing. Elders were seen praying for the couple.
The politician and his family were seen dancing with energy and joy. The bride and groom chose calm colored dresses for the wedding reception.

Waiguru blessed his son’s marriage, adding that he is very proud of his son and hopes that they will build their marriage on love, respect and faith.
“Ian, with joy and gratitude, we celebrate this wonderful step in your life. Your engagement to Joan is not only a union of hearts but also a promise of a future together built on love, respect and faith. May your journey together be blessed with harmony, laughter and lasting friendship. As a mother, I could not be more proud. I love you,” he wrote.

What did Waiguru warn politicians?
In other news, the politician warned male politicians to stop associating her husband, Kamotho Waiganjo, with politics.
Jokingly, she recalled that in 2015 no man in Kirinyaga dared to seduce her until Kamotho, who is now her husband, asked her out.
Waiguru noted that some people expected him to remain single, while some nights are cold.
