Karangu and Triza Njeri dominated the headlines for most of the last year after their marriage broke up, with their separation played out publicly on the internet.

The latest tension stems from statements made by Karangu’s current wife, Carol Kim, during his 40th birthday celebrations.

In her message, Carol explained how she and Karangu found love despite all of the broken marriages—statements that caused mixed reactions online.
People questioned the timing and style of those statements, while others felt they were insensitive to Triza and the children she was blessed with by Karangu.
Among those who commented was Karangu’s friend, businessman Damaris Muriithi, who advised Carol to respect Triza and her children and avoid making such statements in public.
Carol did not respond to the criticism.
Is Karangu Muraya a careless father?
Shortly after, Karangu posted a picture of him spending time with his sons in his farm.
The photos showed them getting ready to cook chicken, feed cows and share happy moments together, all with smiles.
The posts seemed to show a state of family stability, but they were soon followed by a strong response from Triza.
Through social networks, Triza directly addressed the issue in a strong post, accusing Karangu of neglecting their children and claiming he took them without her knowledge.
“I let you do whatever you want with your life, but stay away from my children. She (Carol) has told you to go pick up the children you haven’t seen or helped in a long time, just to prove something,” wrote Triza.
He added:“Get your own children with him, leave mine alone. Please stop following me. Let me recover, along with my children.”
As usual in their conflicts, the issue gained momentum in the networks.
How did Karangu Muraya respond to Triza’s claims?
It didn’t take long for Peanut to respond. The gospel singer shared photos of his children in one of his mansions, stressing that he has never shirked his parental responsibilities.
Karangu explained that a few days before he had received a phone call to be informed that the children were not well.
According to him, he went to see them and took them to the hospital. In addition, he claimed that the children themselves asked him to take them on Sunday so that they could spend the day together.
“I saw that post, and I was expecting it. I, the one you call stupid and said you didn’t want to marry him and wanted freedom, I agreed and I have never followed you in your life,” wrote Karangu.
Denying allegations of neglecting children, Karangu said he has done a lot to ensure his children are comfortable, including giving Triza the house he was building to be sold.
“In that house, I pay all the bills, from water to electricity. I also bring shopping, but the last time I did that, I was insulted in front of my children,” he demanded.
Karangu concluded by saying that he will continue to serve his children regardless of the hostility between him and Triza.
“I will continue to raise my children to the best of my ability, but I ask you, even if you do not respect me, do not treat my children like that,” he wrote.
