Lumbasi surprised many when he revealed that he is married to the singer.
The announcement came months after the Nibebe songstress publicly stated that she has never been married, explaining that she had not yet found a man who met his standards of love according to the teachings of the Bible.
When did Pastor Lumbasi marry Rose Muhando?
Rose explained that she raised her three children alone with God’s wisdom and hard work, and led them to college without the presence of their father.
Earlier, Rose had insisted that she was in no rush to get married, questioning what a man could give her without financial stability and sincere love.
However, during the church service, Lumbasi publicly announced that he had already paid the dowry, and warned other men to stop spitting on the musician.
He explained that their marriage was private, noting that the dowry was paid in Tanzania in 2023, with the event being recognized as an important cross-border union.
Lumbasi expressed his love and respect for Rose and said that together they will take their service to higher levels.

A new video captured during the service shows the couple at the altar.
Pastor wore a blue suit and white shirt, while Rose wore a white skirt suit and t-shirt.
“When we leave here, the queen is cured, and I am cured. Praise God,” he said while the believers cheered.
He went on to say:
“By raising your hands to praise God, allow me to introduce my wife whom God has blessed in ministry.”
When he said that, Rose was embarrassed and covered her face with her hands.
“Let’s raise our hands to welcome the mother of my children. A woman I respect. She was anointed, who is none other than Rose Muhando,” he said.
The believers cheered loudly.
Rose took the microphone but was unable to speak for a moment, due to the sweet introduction she was given.
