Lumbasi Lumbasi surprised many recently when he made it clear about the union.
The announcement came after Rose said previously that he had never been marriedexplaining that she has been experiencing the challenge of finding a man who matches her biblical view of love.
Is Rose Muhando married to Robert Lumbasi?
Rose also once said that she has raised her three children alone, sending them to college without the presence of a father in their lives.
Initially, he insisted that he was looking for a partner who would bring financial stability as well as true love.
Lumbasi publicly announced that he paid Rose’s dowry in Tanzania in 2023, the move he said marked the beginning of their secret cross-border marriage.
He further explained that the marriage was a personal matter, and during the church service, he expressed his love and respect for Rose, saying they have a common mission to raise their ministry.
During the service, Lumbasi introduced Rose with much emotion, referring to him as “mother of my children” and “anointed.” Rose, deeply touched by the recognition, smiled shyly and covered her face briefly before taking the microphone and speaking.
The believers rejoiced with joy when they witnessed that unique moment of the two.
However, the singer later distanced herself from the relationship, leaving many fans in awe.
In an interview on Thursday, January 15, the broadcaster congratulated Rose while referring to the alleged marriage.

“Mother, allow me to congratulate you. We have heard that you are married to a preacher, but secretly,” said the announcer.

Rose seemed to think for a moment before interrupting him.
“No, no, nothing like that,” he insisted.
The announcer continued to ask her questions, but Rose interrupted her again.
“Listen to me. I am a child of God and a servant of God. I will reveal everything about myself,” he said raising his voice a little.
“If there is nothing, there is nothing.”
The announcer then reminded Rose about her proposal to marry a rich white man.
“That’s what I’m waiting for. I haven’t found that white man yet.”

Was Robert Lumbasi Married Before?
TUKO.co.ke previously reported that in 2013, Lumbasi said he was married Leticia Lunami, a lecturer at Sigalagala Technical Institute, and they had three children.
He described his family as an important pillar of support for him, although the current state of their relationship remains unclear.
Lumbasi, who is a senior police officer, served at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Nairobi and was also involved with the Kenya Christian Police Association, giving advice on various issues.
