Are Kanyari and Tash cooperating in child care?
When they returned, Kanyari was seen at the airport with Tash, Betty’s widow, which led to speculation that the custody arrangement had changed and that Kanyari had already taken custody.
Responding to the rumours, Kanyari said to blogs that he paid for the children’s transport to England to give them time away from the memorial of their late mother.
“The children have returned to the country. I paid for their tickets to travel to England so they could rest. First of all, they were afraid to return because, you know, people here keep talking about their mother, and it reminds them, increasing their stress. I convinced them to come back,” he said.
Kanyari explained that he has not yet taken full care and is currently developing the children in collaboration with Tash.
However, he noted that he still plans to take formal training in the near future.
“We haven’t fought much with Tash, that’s why I let them stay with him. He is not my enemy. I have sent them to school and even paid their fees for two semesters. I will stay with them soon, but for now, let them continue with school,” he explained.
