Wamuchomba, who was previously loyal to the Gachagua camp, has been continuing his attacks against him, accusing him of having no tolerance for those who oppose him.
The MP’s latest attack is about Gachagua’s supposed exploitation of those who support him and inciting his followers against leaders who differ from his political views.
In a long statement on Facebook, Wamuchomba criticized Gachagua for being hostile to those he feels oppose him.
“He has been attacking and insulting every leader who does not support his ethnic myth and poison. He has created political enemies in every mountain county, including Machakos. To defend himself; now he is inciting innocent voters to defend him with “Rungus”. He goes around wearing a helmet and a bulletproof vest, but his staff do not,” Wamuchoma said.
He mentioned Gachagua’s apparent greed as he targets his unsuspecting followers to enrich himself.
The MP claimed that during his visit to the United States last August, Gachagua went around the country asking for money from people of foreign countries.
According to him, Gachagua earned more than KSh 600 million, part of which he used to buy bulletproof cars, and the rest to pay off his debts.
“When he traveled to the United States, he was given more than KSh 600 million. He bought two brand new bulletproof cars worth KSh 65 million each, a sound system and a knock system, and paid off all his personal and family debts,” he said.
Wamuchomba noted that the former deputy president spent the money without thinking of those who were in a turbulent political area with him.
He also said that Gachagua was never bothered about his supporters being injured by the police in several political meetings that were arrested by state law enforcers.
The DCP leader was also accused of not taking any action to get justice for those arrested by the police during his political campaigns.
“For the record, he did not share any money with his wounded heroes or repair our damaged cars when we defended him in Olkalau, Naivasha and other places where we were attacked together. In fact, when his close associates were arrested and put in cells, he left them and went to the United States for a mugith festival, “Ngemi”, a trip he could have postponed to bury the dead first. He left the MP, the leader of the young women and men and other ardent supporters locked in the Coffee cells,” he said.
