A Kenyan woman who recently taught at a boys’ high school has been left stunned after a brave fourth-year boy sent her sweet text messages via WhatsApp.

The young teacher named Mollie revealed that she had just completed her teaching practice, when a brave Form 4 student sent her a short message, showing interest in her.
In a conversation shared on TikToka Form 4 boy named Brian started the conversation with a casual greeting: ‘good morning beautiful’, and even though Mollie asked him to be polite, he continued to blurt out his lines.

“Good morning too. What’s your name beautiful? Be polite,” the teacher told her.
However, Brian was continuing the conversation, saying that he would like Mollie to be a permanent teacher at their school so that he could see her every day.
He told her to make sure she returns to their school as a full-time teacher as soon as she finishes her studies, even threatening to go on strike if the principal denies her the job.
“When you finish school, come, we will ask the principal to give you a job, so we don’t strike,” he wrote in a short message.
He then wrote another message before deleting it. Mollie didn’t answer again.

Kenyans react to leaked student talk
Many Kenyans were happy with the boy’s messages to his former teacher, while others criticized him for allegedly disrespecting him. Some netizens urged the teacher not to respond or engage the boy further.
A teacher named Angie took to the comments section to share a similar experience, saying she had to drop out of school because she fell in love with a student.
“I had to drop out of school, because a 3rd grader would give me chocolate every morning,” he said.

Kakamega teacher leaks chat
In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a teacher in Kakamega leaked a chat from a colleague that embarrassed him about a WhatsApp status.
The teacher, O’Kubasu Malik, had posted a video of himself enjoying himself in the club on his WhatsApp status, and this did not go down well with his colleague, who despised him.
The colleague said Malik should not post such videos due to his social status as a teacher.
