Lucy Natasha Explains Why She Closed Nairobi Church: “The Beginning of Big Things”

In an official statement issued on Sunday, January 11, Natasha said that the services will move online.

At the time, he indicated that the closure of the church would be for a short period of time as the service faced challenges in the church area located at the intersection of Moi Avenue and Business Road, Nairobi.

In an additional statement on Friday, January 14, the gospel pastor, known to many as Mother Oracle, shared more details about the church closing.

He revealed that the church will be closed permanently after their five-year contract on the roof of the Bishara Plaza building expires.

“This decision is strategic and forward-looking. As a ministry, we trust God to give us a permanent place, a land that will have a church, a television service, and a school. This step is about ownership, legacy, and long-term effects,” Natasha explained, explaining her plans to the ECC.

He assured his believers that the closure of the church will not disrupt worship, as services continue through online platforms.

“ECC is more than a building. Our services are fully online, and our digital church reaches more than 10 million people worldwide. Millions have been touched through our online services, and the impact continues. Our campaigns and philanthropic efforts continue, and our online services continue to be strong as we trust God for our own position,” he wrote.

Natasha also warned the public against false rumors about the closure of the church and encouraged her followers to remain united.

Natasha’s announcement that the church will be closed permanently caused a stir online.

Is Lucy Natasha married?

In other news, the pastor revealed that he met his Indian girlfriend, Carmel, online after she called him through Instagram.

According to Carmel, he found a video of Natasha preaching, was impressed, and decided to contact her. The couple got married in a lavish family ceremony in January 2022.
