Proud parents have gone all out to celebrate their son’s KCSE exam results, which has caught the attention of content creators.

The Minister of Education, Julius Ogamba, announced the results on Friday, January 9.
1,932 candidates (0.19% of the group) got a plain A, showing an increase from 1,693 (0.18%) in 2024.
What car did the KCSE student get?
On Sunday, January 11, Becky announced that her parents gave her brother, Kimeu, a Toyota C-HR after he got perfect A’s on the test.
He started by showing a new imported hybrid car, complete with rubber decorations.
The car was parked at the door of their house on Cabro Road.

In the second video, Becky showed when her proud parents handed over the car to Kimeu.
“Congratulations on getting an A plain,” said his father hugging him.
Mother also hugged and congratulated him.
“This is your gift – a brand new car,” said his father and advised him to get in and drive.
Kimeu drove for a short time and then got out while his father opened a bottle to celebrate the event. Then the young man drank a little.
“Congratulations. You have achieved – A plain in KCSE,” wrote Becky.
In his stories of InstagramBecky said she received many inquiries and shared the approximate cost of the car.
“I’ve received so many questions, I thought I’d better do a Q&A so someone can at least learn a thing or two from them. You can write all the questions you have, whether it’s about the import process or anything. I’ll try to answer them all despite my busy schedule.”
“It does not exceed KSh 4.2 million. The registration of car numbers was KSh 3,000. The cost of transportation is about KSh 145,000.”
Which course will an A student in KCSE continue with?
Another netizen asked what course Kimeu will continue in college.
“Actuarial Science,” replied Becky.
For further questions, Becky provided more accurate figures on costs.
“I don’t want to mention the exact price, but I would say it is estimated at $20,000. The car tax is what makes it expensive, as it is estimated at KSh 1.5 million.”

In another report, a photo circulating online claimed to be the leader of COTU, Francis Atwoligave a relative a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado worth KSh 5 million for the best KCSE results.
The photo showed Atwoli in a blue suit handing him the keys beside a ribbon-wrapped SUV.
