The lead preacher of Salvation Healing Ministries has been making headlines for the past two months following the death of his ex-wife, a gospel singer. Betty Bayo.
Betty died from complications related to acute myeloid leukemia, a condition she was diagnosed with just days before her death.
At the time of her death, Betty was remarried to Tash, also known as Hiram Gitau, who was living with and raising the two children she shared with Kanyari, Sky Victor and Dani Victor.
Her death quickly sparked an online debate about who benefits from the children’s care.
Before traveling to England, the children were living with Tash at her Edenville Estate home.
However, Kanyari several times had publicly expressed his desire to want the children to live with him.

The children returned to Kenya in the early hours of Sunday, January 11, and Kanyari and Tash attended the airport to receive him.
