Pastor Lucy Natasha of the Empowerment Christian Church (ECC), has announced the temporary closure of the church’s location in Nairobi, while all services are now held online.

In a statement he shared through his official social networks, the city preacher confirmed that the church will not continue to hold face-to-face services on the roof of Biashara Plaza, an area that has been serving believers for several years.
Why is Lucy Natasha’s church closed?
The changes began to be implemented on Sunday, January 11, marking a new step for the ministry of the church in Nairobi.
According to the statement, the decision was based on challenges related to the hall of worship.

It should be noted that Natasha did not disclose specifics, whether it was tax issues or other external reasons.
“Important information. Starting this Sunday, January 11, we will not meet at the Biashara Plaza roof due to the challenges of the hall. All services will continue online until it is announced otherwise,” read part of the statement.
The leadership of the church also asked the believers to continue praying for the church as it goes through a period of searching for a permanent place to worship.
“Stand with us in prayer as God guides us towards our place prepared by God. Continue to be connected with us,” the statement added.

Natasha assured the believers that the change will not affect the activities of the church’s services, saying that all services will continue through digital platforms until further notice.

Did Lucy Natasha pray for Prezzo?
As previously reported, rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini popularly known as Prezzo accepted Jesus.
Prezzo gave his life to Christ during a service at Natasha’s church in Nairobi.
That song artist Naija Girl he attended the service and announced his salvation in front of the believers.
The veteran artist thanked Natasha for helping him make that decision and revealed that he left world music and moved to gospel music, while singing his first gospel song in the church.
“A big thank you to Pastor Lucy Natasha. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be on this gospel path. We want to make a song for the Lord, and I’m blessed to launch it in front of people,” he said.
Natasha shared a video of Prezzo and congratulated him for the bold decision.
“When you enter His presence with praise, He enters your situations with strength! Congratulations to my spiritual son @prezzo254 for releasing your new gospel song launched today @eccnairobi. May God use you to reach our youth. Our generation is our responsibility. I am proud of you, my son,” he wrote.
