Kiambu Family Bewildered CCTV Captures Strange Man Outside Their Gate At Midnight

  • The home’s CCTV camera recorded an unknown man appearing outside the gate of the residence just before midnight, and he remained alert for a while.
  • The man seemed attentive, surveying the area before moving closer to the compound, his intentions a mystery.
  • He was seen getting down on his knees and peering into the property, unaware that the home’s CCTV camera was clearly recording him.

A family in Kiambu County has been left in shock after the CCTV camera of their home showed a strange person outside their compound who had strange movements and then left.

CCTV showed that a few minutes before midnight on January 3, a man, with part of his face covered, was seen outside the family’s gate with a shoulder bag.

In a video shared on Facebook, the man looked left and right, seemingly careful not to be seen, and after confirming that the area was safe, he took a few steps towards the family’s gate and began his “undercover work.”

He knelt down and started looking inside the compound, not knowing that the CCTV camera was recording him in detail.

He looked around the compound for a few minutes before getting up and checking the gate, probably trying to figure out how he could get in.

The visitor realized that the CCTV was recording him, but undeterred he knelt down again, looking into the compound once more.

However, he escaped quickly after the owner of the house went to the gate to confront him. When the gate opened, the man took his bag and ran.

Many who watched the video were surprised by the movements of the mysterious man, wondering why he ran when he tried to show courage even after discovering the CCTV camera outside the gate.

@Njoki said: “He is obviously looking directly at the camera, which makes it easier to identify him. Residents of Thamanda are encouraged to be alert and report him if they recognize him.”

@Participant 68 said: “He doesn’t see the camera? Sometimes I even see strange things when I’m in bed and check the camera on my phone, when I find people standing at the gate watching. I wait for them to come in so we can ‘officially meet’, around eight o’clock at night.”

Elsewhere, one woman of Nakuru gave many a laugh after sharing a CCTV video of her housekeeper meeting a mysterious man.

The maid was returning home from church when she met a man who scolded her for not answering her greetings.

Two children who were with the worker remained scared.
