In the video, his family was seen knocking on the door while singing at his grandmother’s house carrying gifts, as expected in Kikuyu customs.

The festive arrangement also included delicious food, drinks arranged in small cups and different types of rice prepared on the table.

He said:

“Love was not done in haste; it was honored. Before two hearts united, families gathered, elders gave wisdom, and custom took its proper place. Rũracio is more than a ceremony; it is a sacred agreement, witnessed by heaven and bound by culture. With humility, we came before our people. With love, we gave and received. With faith, we experienced a covenant greater than us; based on respect, patience and purpose.”

He also thanked his family for helping him and was proud of how the ceremony marked more than two people coming together.

“It was not just a union of two hearts, but a connection of history, prayers, and generations. May the same God who took care of our ancestors bless them on this journey, guide our steps, and put love in the middle of everything. I have respected my ancestors, and they have respected me. Tradition met love, culture met faith, and love found its right foundation.” he wrote on his Instagram.
