So no Guardian Angel which was carrying secondary school students was involved in an accident in Kimende, on the busy Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

Pictures circulating online and seen by TUKO.co.ke show the bus, registration number KCP 791U, lying on its side just beside the road.
Details of the Guardian bus accident
Some of the students in the bus were seen sitting on the grass nearby, while passers-by and locals gathered at the place to offer help.
The bus, which was carrying 45 passengers, was reportedly going to Siaya before it lost control and went off the road.

For luck good, there were no deaths in the incident. Ten students however suffered minor injuries and are reported to be in stable condition.
Six people were killed in an early morning accident in London
In a related incident, six people were killed in an early morning accident involving an Uwezo bus bound for Busia on the Londiani–Fort Ternan road in Kericho county.
Initial reports indicate that the bus collided with the back of a truck at a known danger zone between the Fort Tenan tunnel and the nearby high bridge. The collision completely damaged the front part of the bus.
Several other passengers reportedly suffered serious injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for immediate treatment.
Police and emergency forces arrived quickly, coordinating rescue efforts as worried locals gathered at the scene.
Kericho County Police Commander James Ngetich confirmed the incident, noting that the accident caused major disruption to early morning traffic.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.

These recent incidents come at a time of increasing concern about road accidents in Kenya, especially when many citizens are traveling after the holidays.
On Monday, January 5, a tragic collision on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway left ten people dead and 15 others seriously injured.
The accident happened in the Karai area of Naivasha at 8pm when a Greenline bus collided head-on with a passenger car Nanyuki Cabs.
