Migori: A 28-year-old KDF lieutenant is found dead in his bedroom

The 28-year-old officer was identified as Second Lieutenant Synthia Awour Mboya of Gilgil Camp.

He was found at his home in Nyahera Village, Suna East Sub-County, where he had traveled on holiday.

The incident was reported shortly before midnight, prompting police officers and detectives to quickly arrive at the scene.

How was the Migori KDF officer found dead?

According to information in the police incident book (OB), the officer’s body was found in his matrimonial room, lying in a pool of blood.

“It was reported by Calvis Odeka, assistant chief of Osingo South, that there was a murder incident in his area involving a KDF officer named Synthia Awuor Mboya, aged 28,” read part of the report.

Investigators noted obvious injuries, including severe lacerations and signs indicating she may have been strangled.

“Preliminary examination revealed that the deceased had a serious wound on his nose and signs of strangulation,” the report added.

An investigation into the death has been launched. The husband of the deceased told the police officers that he returned home from Migori town around seven in the morning and found the doors of the house open.

When he went inside, he found his wife’s lifeless body in the bedroom.

Detectives from the Migori Police Station and the Suna East Sub-County Criminal Investigation Office have launched a full investigation to determine the circumstances of the murder and identify those involved.

Officers at the scene recorded evidence before the body was taken to the Migori County Referral Hospital mortuary, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted.

The family was taking the mother and child after delivery.

The accident involved a Toyota Fielder, a saloon car and a truck.

Initial reports indicated that Fielder’s car was passing other vehicles when it collided head-on with a saloon car before crashing into a truck, killing all five family members, including his brother Willington, who was a police officer. GSU.

Friends and family mourned the deaths through social media, describing the incident as very sad.

The deaths left a huge void in the family, with many remembering Willington and his relatives as people who loved and devoted themselves to their families.
