When did Atwoli and Kilobi receive the child?
In early March, the media mogul took to social media to announce that she and her 75-year-old husband they were blessed with a healthy son.
Kilobi explained that they welcomed their child seven years after their marriage, adding that Atwoli was not present when their child was born.
Kenyans online congratulated them on having a baby, while others shared advice to help them embark on the journey of parenting.
A few days later, former Governor Kivutha Kibwana could not help but make a joke to the Secretary General of COTU following the birth of his son.
Congratulating Atwoli and his wife Kilobi on the birth of their child, Kibwana jokingly suggested that it was time for the veteran union leader to take “maternity leave.”
Atwoli quickly responded by thanking him and reminding him how he fought for male workers in Kenya to be given the right to maternity leave.
