Despite being in his late fifties, the president has maintained his good looks. During his recent trip to Turkana county, Kenyans have praised him a lot.

How Ruto dressed for the concert

The President presided over the ninth edition of the Tobong’u Lore Festival in Lodwar. Ruto modeled his traditional personality and appearance.

She mixed modern wear with traditional wear with ease. He was seen wearing Maasai sheets around his shoulders and below his waist.

Ruto wore a beaded necklace and beautiful black glasses to show how he has a good eye for the finer things.

On his head was a feathered crown fit for a king. He was seen holding a drum, which one of the traditional dancers gave him as a gift.

In some photos, he was seen sitting inside one of the houses made of sticks next to the Turkana women.

In another, he danced with Turkana men while holding his traditional stick in the air. The President called on elders and cultural experts to protect Kenya’s diverse cultural heritage.”

“We call on national and county elders, cultural experts, the private sector, and our development partners to work together to protect Kenya’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. This heritage must provide tangible benefits to our people and to the nation. This includes using our cultural heritage to enhance tourism as a driver of employment, business, and inclusive economic growth, and to advance climate change measures by integrating knowledge and traditional practices in environmental conservation,” he said.

Ruto reaffirmed his commitment to building a museum and a science park.

“We reaffirm our commitment to the development of the human settlement project, which will include a world-class museum of human nature and a science park. It will transform the area into an international hub for scientific research, tourism, and investment, and position Kenya as the human settlement,” he said.
