The grieving family hoped to give the deceased a dignified burial, but violence erupted minutes before the body was lowered into the grave.
The deceased, Edward Mwangi Mwea, died after being presumed murdered, leaving his family crying for justice.
All was going smoothly until the family planned to lower the casket, when a relative caused a disturbance.
The suspect of Edward’s murder is released by the police
The man, who identified himself as Charles, refused to allow the funeral to take place, explaining that the police broke their promise.
“They told us that because he was killed and the suspect identified himself, he will be taken to court, and we will get justice. They told us not to take the law into our own hands. When I followed the suspect to the police station, there was no written OB of the truth. The OB shows that the deceased was killed. The killer was not chained,” explained Charles.

Finally, the mourners forcibly removed Charles and Mary from the grave so that the burial could take place and be closed.

Mary cried asking for justice, saying she just wanted the police to fulfill their promise so that the family could find peace and ensure that their loved ones get justice.
Edward was finally buried, and the tomb was covered with earth as Mary and Charles watched helplessly, unable to continue their march.
