The former Member of Parliament for Lugari Constituency, Kakamega County, aged 64, sadly died in a car accident.
The tragic incident happened on Saturday, December 13, at about 3 am while he was driving his luxury car.
Where is Cyrus Jirongo’s village house?
For luck unfortunately, he did not make it home, as he died on the spot following a head-on accident between his car and a bus with passengers.

His white Mercedes-Benz car was badly damaged as a result of the fatal accident, which happened along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
A cloud of sadness and grief hung over his village home in Lumakanda, as seen in a video trending on Facebook following the sad news.
The bereaved woke up with sad news about Jirongo and were still dealing with the news that shook the nation.

The house has a large area that looked clean, with several trees visible behind the beautiful house.
Several people appeared in the area, their faces filled with sadness as they spoke, although they could not be heard.
Some were on their cell phones making calls and scrolling, while others gathered in small groups, their postures reflecting their brokenness.
Others were seen heading towards the house, hurrying down the stairs as they made their way to one of the residences.

Jirongo highlights the state of his daughter’s funeral
