Funeral arrangements for Festus Amimo are underway, with official mourning ceremonies beginning today, Wednesday, December 10, at his village home in Awasi, County Poisonousaccording to Luo customs.

Amimo’s widow traveled to the village to make an official announcement (tero ywak) at her home in the village. Tradition dictates that the spouse opens the gate and cries while the others join in.

“He traveled from Nairobi to his home in Awasi village on Wednesday, December 10, to mark the start of official mourning at his home. Other relatives joined him,” a source shared with TUKO.co.ke.

Mayienga FM shared a photo of his villa in the village on social media, causing a stir.
