Kaluma is among the MPs of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) who support the President’s ambition William Ruto to be re-elected.
How many votes will William Ruto get in Nyanza?
There has been a division in the Orange Party about supporting the administration of Kenya First Alliance after 2027.
Some political analysts said that Ruto will need the full support of the supporters of the late former prime minister Raila Odinga to get a second term.
But in a Twitter message on Saturday, December 6, Kaluma appeared to suggest that the president should be worried about getting votes from the Nyanza region.
According to Kaluma, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader will get four million votes from Raila’s politics.
What did Kenyans say about how they reacted to Peter Kaluma’s predictions?
Some Kenyans wondered how Ruto will get four million votes, but Raila never got such votes in all his presidential attempts.
“In 2027, the Luo community will give President Ruto 4 million votes,” Kaluma said.
However, many Kenyans strongly disagreed with Kaluma’s prediction for 2027.
@dindikenya:
“Differentiate between Raila’s votes, ODM’s votes, and Luo’s votes, then you will arrive at the total number of votes.”
TONY:
“If they didn’t give Dad 4 million, what makes you think they can give anyone else imaginary numbers?”
support:
“Why didn’t the Luos give Raila 4 million in 5 consecutive contests? The 1.5 million they gave Raila will be divided into 4 parties. Ruto can be guaranteed 400k at least, and that is Homabay.”
Haron Maina Ngatia:
“It’s funny how people who have never given your beloved son all their votes are threatening to make a foreigner a two-term president.”

Has the ODM party been sold to William Ruto?
In other news, the former vice president Rigathi Gachagua he made serious claims about the Orange Party.
Gachagua claimed that President Ruto had bought ODM from Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga, who is also the party’s national chairman.
He claimed that the two leaders have already received advance payments from Ruto in what he described as the sale of the party.
Gachagua pointed to Junet’s absence on the day ODM founder Raila Odinga died, suggesting that it was deliberate.
