Leader of the Democracy for Citizens Party Rigathi Gachagua has increased his criticism of President William Ruto during a rally in Mwiki on Sunday, December 7, as part of his campaign to oust him from power.

Gachagua met his supporters after attending a church service at the Dominion Christian Church there Kasarani.
Did William Ruto sell public assets?
Gachagua accused the president of selling important public assets, including the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Safaricomand the Kenya Pipeline Company.
“All that is left is to sell the people of Kenya,” he claimed, claiming that Ruto has betrayed the country by using the nation’s resources.

The former vice president appealed to voters to support him and the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka under the opposition of the Union, vowing to bring Ruto home.
In a shocking turn of events, the meeting was briefly interrupted when a cow entered the crowd, forcing the attendees to leave while Gachagua continued his speech.
“That cow will harm people. Who brought this cow here? Is it Kasongo? Kasongo must be defeated… Satan must be defeated! Should he be lost?” asked Gachagua.

Meanwhile, while speaking in a church in Kasarani, the opposition leader urged ODM leaders to join the United Opposition before the 2027 elections.

The former MP for Mathira warned that the continuation of ODM’s alliance with Ruto will reduce his support nationally, even in Nairobi.
He suggested that if ODM leaders are afraid of him, they should engage Kalonzo directly to ensure Ruto’s defeat. He also said that the Wiper Party has supported ODM for a long time and therefore they should not be left out.
