The graduate and her younger sister, Satrine, were welcomed into the family after losing their mother, who was killed in a terrorist attack at a church.
Six people were killed in the attack in March 2014.
Satrine was left with a bullet in her head, while the reports of the detailed examination and the doctors said that the bullet hit their mother while she was protecting her.
The family faced huge medical and funeral expenses, something that touched Sonko.

On Friday, December 5, Primrose shared the news of her son’s graduation from Scott Christian University, located in Machakos.
According to the institution’s website, it was previously called Scott Theological College. It was established in 1962 as the national theological institute of the African Inland Church in Kenya, designed to provide advanced professional training for church leadership.
The institution got its name in honor of Peter Cameron Scott, who led the Africa Inland Mission in Kenya in 1895, work that eventually led to the establishment of the Africa Inland Church as one of its ministries.
Primrose shared many photos from the special day, with Gift smiling.
The proud mother wore a pink, black, and white dress with white bedding for the occasion and posed for photos with Gift.

However, the mother did not reveal the course she followed.
“Congratulations, my son,” he captioned the photo.

While still on graduation news, YouTuber Oga ObinnaMagana-born Steve Thompson, joined thousands of Kenyans who completed their university studies, graduating with top honors in his class.
He marked the achievement by sharing pictures of himself in professional attire and reflecting on the long and difficult road that led him back to education.
Obinna talked about the obstacles he overcame and thanked those who supported him throughout the journey.
The music artist further hinted at plans to continue his professional development. Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication (PR option).
