Citizen Digital reported that the body of Moses Odenyi was found inside his house on Tuesday, December 2, in Chemelil area.

How did the police discover the body of Moses Odenyi?

According to the police report submitted to the Muhoroni Police Station, the neighbors noticed a bad smell coming from the house of the deceased.

The neighbors immediately tried to inform the police about the situation, and when they arrived, the officers had to break down the door of the house after realizing that it was locked from the inside.

Sadly, when the police got a chance to enter the house, they found the body of the 59-year-old man lying on the bed.

Police said a preliminary examination of Odenyi’s body did not reveal any injuries, but the foul smell indicated that he may have died several days ago.

Neighbors told police they last saw him returning home on Saturday, November 29.

The police took the body and took it to Othoo Hospital, while waiting for an investigation to determine the cause of death.

Tito Kiprotich was killed?

Elsewhere, grief has overwhelmed the village of Kimawit in the County Bomet following the death of a 28-year-old man, Tito Kiprotich.

Before his death, Kiprotich worked as a shopkeeper in Chebole, near the bus station.

She went missing on November 17 after leaving the store to buy dinner.

Efforts to find him faced many hurdles, even after the family filed a missing person’s report at the Chebole Police Station and launched an urgent search for him.

Kiprotich’s brother, Hezron Cheruiyot, told TUKO.co.ke that the body of the deceased was found in the Chebole dam.

He explained that his brother was killed before being thrown into the pond, and that they suspect someone.

Kiprotich’s body was found on November 24, just six days after he went missing, leaving his family in deep grief.

Hezron shared that funeral arrangements were being made, but the family was in need of financial assistance.

Kenyans expressed their condolences online, with members of the community mourning the tragic and senseless death of the young businessman.
