Actor Bilal Wanjau passed away.

This famous actor was known for acting in various shows including Bazenga, The Runaway, and Wimped.

Bilal started to gain fame through the much-loved show of Tahidi High aired on Citizen TV, and also appeared on Pepeta, Lies That Bind, and Maisha Magic’s Jela 5 Star.

Thursday, December 4, Sandra Dacha confirmed the death of Bilal and the essence of his death.

He shared a video helping Bilal get up from the chair, as he could not do it himself due to his weight. They all laughed together and seemed to enjoy the moment.

The essence of Bilal Wanjau’s death

In the description of the video, Sandra said that Bilal had problems related to diabetes.

“It is with great sadness that I announce the unexpected death of my colleague @webster_jnr this morning from complications related to diabetes,” he wrote.

According to sources who spoke to TUKO.co.ke, Bilal had missed taking his medication for a few days, and this situation caused sugar to rise in his body.

Sandra praised Bilal for his acting skills, noting that his death is a big blow to the film industry in Kenya.

“Bilal was a great and talented actor! We have lost one of the best in the industry.”

He revealed that the actor will be buried on Friday, December 5, according to Islamic customs.

“The funeral date has been set for Friday at his home in Machakos village. Please pray for the family. May God rest his soul in eternal peace,” he finished.

Bilal and Sandra were close in recent months, as he was helping her lose weight.

Sandra experienced significant weight loss using Ozempic and introduced Bilal to a clinic that could help him.

In September, he shared a video with Bilal at the clinic and gave him a warm welcome.

“Dads eeeeh? Dads aaaaah? This is your opportunity if you want to lose weight. Welcome, my long-time friend and colleague,” he wrote in the video.

He dropped from 152 kg to 135 kg, losing about one kg a week, until he reached 115 kg.
