A woman identified as Judith Makokha has been trending ever since she came forward to claim that she is the mother of veteran singer Bahati.

Judith claimed that she faked her death so that Bahati could have a better life in the orphanage where she was raised in Mathare.

He also claimed that he was ready to do DNA tests and apologized for abandoning his son, because he had nothing to do.

What? How did the lucky children treat their ‘grandmother’?

However, Bahati shared a video showing his son, Morgan, and daughter, Mueni, responding to the woman’s claims.

Morgan said: “She made me laugh, she made me angry. She’s not your mother. She’s a Luhya. Have you heard her accent? You showed us the grandmother’s grave when we were in the village, I think this is just a joke.”

Then Bahati told Mueni what was happening because he had not yet watched the video.

He replied: “Do you think she looks like your mother? Ask people from where you lived.”

What did Bahati say about his alleged mother?

Bhati responded to the woman who claimed to be his mother and noted how confused he was because he buried his mother 25 years ago.

He claimed that he attended his mother’s funeral in Ukambani and questioned where the woman was from. Bhati asked the Kenyans for advice on what to do because he was sure he had attended his mother’s funeral so that ‘he’ would be alive.

Some Kenyans advised him to do a DNA test if he was sure that there was a possibility that the woman could be his mother.

Others also accused him of following kiki and advised him to learn to drop his new music without putting drama.
