Betty Bayo’s Husband, Tash Speaks After a Moment of Silence Since He Buried His Wife, Fans Praise Him

It has been about a week since the beloved gospel singer was buried in a very sad mourning ceremony at Mugumo Estate.

Song artist The 11th Hour died on Monday, November 10, while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital, after being diagnosed with leukemia.

His shocking death left his family, friends and the Gospel music community in deep grief.

Among those who were greatly affected was her husband, Hiram Gitau (Tash), whom she married after her separation from Pastor Victor Kanyari.

The last time Tash was seen in public was during the funeral of Betty Mugumo Estate, where she was seen in deep grief while mourning with the deceased’s children, Sky Victor and Danivictor.

After several days of silence, he reappeared on Sunday, November 30, during the launch event of gospel singer, Ngaruiya Junior, held at the Mark Hotel, Thika Road.

Dressed in black to signify mourning, she addressed the guests and occasionally appeared to smile gently.

He recounted how he became a close friend of Ngaruiya during his relationship with Betty and commended him and other gospel musicians for their great support to the family from the time Betty was receiving treatment, during the blood services, to the funeral preparations.

The widow also touched on her sudden online fame, joking about her lack of familiarity with social media.

“I’m not much of an internet person. Even the things I saw recently made me feel like a first-year student, but I’m still struggling. I think I’ll look for Karangu Muraya to give me training so I know how people develop there,” he said jokingly, apparently referring to the ongoing custody dispute over Betty’s children.

During the funeral service held at Ndumberi Stadium, Tash touched those present through his condolence message full of love and memories.
