Smooth ride in the city Nakuru ended in sadness and shock after a man lost his life in a fatal accident on the Geoffrey Kamau Highway in the heart of the city (CBD).

The image captured on the truck’s dashboard camera was dated November 17, 2025, at 9.38 am.
How did the relative die in the Nakuru accident?
The man was seen standing next to parked cars with a small group of people shortly before the incident.
Witnesses were left shocked when he timed an oncoming trailer and suddenly jumped onto the highway, opposite Mache Hardware, where he was fatally struck.
All that happened so quickly that those who were nearby failed to intervene and left them stunned as the tragedy unfolded before their eyes.
After the incident, the driver changed lanes for a while before returning to his original route.
The widely circulated video sparked a lot of conversation about mental health, with some Kenyans linking the tragedy to depression and the struggle of life.

Former Kakamega MCA dies in a road accident
Elsewhere, the former MCA Kakamega nominee Lynda Praise died in a tragic night accident. He served between 2017 and 2022 as a member of the ANC party.
MCA-elect Amos Liyai Munasia noted that he was working on WhatsApp shortly before the accident, between 8.54pm and 10pm.
