Anthony Olwal: His Bodaboda Wife Who Was Killed in Nairobi Speaks, Tells Her Last Words

The wife of an online delivery operator who was allegedly tortured and killed while at work in Sana Sana, South B, Nairobi county, has spoken in pain.

Antony Otieno Olwal met his death while delivering a package to a customer in an apartment on Tuesday morning, November 18.

What was Antony taking to South B?

The online delivery operator was tasked with delivering the luxury Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphone.

Eunice Atieno, the wife of the deceased, sadly recalled the last phone call with her lover before the tragic incident.

“The last time I called him was around 10:30 in the morning. He told me he had arrived at the client’s house and that he would call me again. I don’t know what happened after that,” he said.

Antony, a father of three, left a shop in Nairobi to deliver a phone he was ordered by a man to take out Eldoret.

He had ordered the phone through WhatsApp, requesting that it be sent to his brother in South B, who lives in tenements.

Antony’s brother, Isaiah Odhiambo Ochieng, narrated his brother’s last steps before he disappeared.

“He came in the morning around 9 am, took the load and left around 10:30. Around 12 pm his phone rang, I tried to call him on two of his numbers, but they were not available. I also tried to call the customer’s number, but it was also not available,” he said.

A few hours later, Antony’s body was tragically found under the bed of the tenement house covered in blood.

What did Antony’s autopsy report reveal?

According to the postmortem report, Antony was hit on the head with a blunt object, causing massive blood loss and severe injuries.

“My brother was tortured, his hands and feet were tied, and his mouth was also tied, I don’t know the intentions of these people, I don’t know if they wanted to call or if they intended to kill him,” Isaiah said.
