According to her family, Betty was very frail in her last days after being diagnosed with cancer and then suddenly passed away.

After Betty’s death, rumors have spread about who will take custody of the children: Sky Victor and Danivictor.

After breaking up with Kanyari, Betty found love again with Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash.
The singer lived with Tash in his house Edenville Estate, where the children developed a close relationship with their stepfather.
With increasing debate, Kanyari, being the biological father, has made it clear that he is ready to raise his children.
Is Kanyari a responsible father?
During his recent sermon at the church, Kanyari emphasized that even when Betty was alive, he was an available and responsible father.
He told his followers that he worked tirelessly to provide the best for his children, despite the absence of their mother.
“Even the English they speak well, I taught them that. Why don’t people want to praise me?” he wondered.
He added:
“The whiteness my children are talking about, it’s because of me, it’s with my money. I’m the one who registered them in an international school, the best in Kenya. There we pay KSh 500,000 per semester, and I’ve never told anyone in my family about this because if I told them, they’d scold me saying it’s a huge amount.”

He recalled how his own brother dismissed the idea of expensive school fees for his children, showing his dedication.
“I told my brother about this once, and he said he cannot send his son to a school whose fees are more than KSh 15,000. He said he would prefer to build residential apartments that his children would inherit later,” Kanyari added.
The preacher previously claimed that he has found a luxury house worth KSh 90 million in Runda, where he intends to move in with his children as soon as everything is arranged.
Despite the fact that Kanyari has revealed that he is a faithful father, rumors about the upbringing of the children have continued.
Some think that Betty’s mother, Joyce, may also have a claim.
However, others say that despite his conflicts, Kanyari has shown responsibility over the years and, as the biological father, should take custody.
However, until now, it is not yet known who will take care of the children. Watch the video below:
