What advice did the preacher give to Tash?
As rumors continued to spread, her husband Bayo was at the Blue Springs Hotel with other mourners for the final funeral meeting.
The preacher, Michael Wanderi, while speaking at the meeting, advised Tash not to listen to the naysayers on social media.
The preacher added that he rarely speaks at funerals and mostly leads songs to avoid hurting the bereaved family.
“You’re going to hear things that will hurt you, and that’s why I don’t talk a lot at funerals. It’s better if I lead in the songs because someone might say something that will hurt you. It’s good to protect your heart because I hear we’ve been mentioned on social media,” he said.
He added that wise people were silent in the middle of the storm, and foolish people were quick to talk about things.
Bayo’s husband has maintained his silence about his relationship with the musician since his death.
“Thank God because the husband or wife you have right now, you have no guarantee. You should all pray and be thankful. Learn to be patient with everyone. Wise people are not quick to speak, but fools are quick. God’s word is true, and it will never change. If you want to appear wise, keep silent. Just look, those who are silent are favored, but those who jump to speak things are despised.”

He told the mourners to respect Bayo until they bury him so that they can express their views on the matter.
“Before that, people will see your emptiness, and your immaturity,” he participated.
