Betty Bayo, who was well known in the Gospel music industry, passed away early on November 10, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.
In a video recently shared by Bayo’s close friend, Shiro Stuart, he joined the children of the deceased to enjoy his songs.
The video showed the children enjoying themselves as Gospel artist, Mr Seed, showed them how to dance to the song “Ngai ti Mundu,” which earned them a Groove Award.
What did Betty Bayo’s children do?
The children squealed with delight as they sang every word of the Kikuyu song before moving on to Betty’s 2013 hit, Experiment.
In the tapes, Betty’s daughter, Sky, was wearing it deraand danced in front while Shiru’s son, Maina, demonstrated how to cut Amapiano styles.
According to Shiro, the playful moment happened while guests were gathered outside during a funeral planning meeting held at Betty’s home on Monday, November 17.
He expressed his happiness by witnessing how Betty’s children and her friends sincerely appreciate his songs, noting that they are his truest fans.
“While the funeral was going on outside, we decided to do a little therapy for Betty’s music. Her children are still the biggest fans of Betty Bayo’s songs,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

What did Bayo’s husband say about children?
In another report, Bayo’s husband, Hiram Gitau popularly known as Tash, recently shared a touching tribute during the memorial service of the deceased.
He noted how their love story touched him and asked for prayers when he is going through a great tragedy.
Tash also vowed to continue taking care of Bayo’s children, who had Pastor Kanyari, while the custody case continues.
