Which minister was in the DR Congo plane that crashed?
The Daily Mail reported that the plane, flying the MBC-100, skidded off the runway during landing, lost its main landing gear and caught fire.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the plane slid on its belly before catching fire in the tail section.

It was found that the Minister of Mines Louis Watum Kabamba and 19 other people were in the plane at the time of the terrible incident.
The minister’s communications adviser, Isaac Nyembo, confirmed the incident, saying that although the rescue was gruesome, there were no deaths among passengers and crew.
“The plane was flying from the capital, Kinshasa, when it skidded off the runway while landing at Kolwezi airport in Lualaba region. Shortly after, the plane caught fire,” Nyembo said.
Nyembo said about 20 passengers were removed from the plane before it caught fire, but the luggage was damaged.
According to Nyembo, the minister and other officials were on their way to Kolwezi to assess the situation in the Kalondo mine, where 32 people were killed in a mine accident on Saturday, November 15.
