The musician of the famous song of 11th Hour died on Monday, November 10, while receiving treatment for leukemia at Kenyatta Hospital.
Where was Betty Bayo’s memorial service held?
A touching memorial service was held on Sunday, November 16, at the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) church along Kiambu Road, where family, friends, and fans gathered to celebrate his life and legacy.
Among the many emotional moments, Danny’s speech touched the audience the most.
How did Danny explain about his mother?
The young man, showing exceptional courage, shared fond memories of his mother. Danny explained how his mother always made him feel loved and special.
“Mom, you are my dream. You are the person I could call anytime. You reached out to me with love. Sometimes, even with KFC in your hand. Sometimes when you were telling us to prepare for trips or small events. Those trips showed me to be special and visible. I love how you called me by my name, how you made me laugh, and how your hugs made everything good again. I will miss you and your smile and how you knew everything we needed without even say,” he said.
Danny further promised his mother that he would continue to honor her love and memory.
“Even though you are not here with us, I carry your love everywhere I go. I will strive to live in a way that makes you proud. I will take care of my father, and my sister, as you always wanted. Thank you mom, for loving me completely. For making my life filled with wonder and joy. I will love you forever and you will always be in my heart. I will never forget your love and I will miss you very much,” Danny continued.
