Was Betty Bayo’s husband given custody of her children?
On Sunday, November 16, during a memorial service at the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) church, Tash paid a special tribute to his beloved wife, touching mourners deeply.
The Kenyan who lives in the United States described Bayo as a good, loving and prayerful partner, while imploring mourners to remember him in prayer.
“It’s not easy what happened. We need your prayers. As I write this last letter to you, I find myself returning again and again to the love that changed our lives. Ours was not just a relationship, but it was a turning point. A divine meeting, an unexpected gift and a second chance that God gently placed in our hands. From the moment we met, my soul knew that this was true love.” Tash said with emotion.
He continued:
“We built a life full of laughter, courage and moments that still shine in my heart. You gave me memories that time cannot erase, the friendships you made me, and the love that continues to breathe in the spaces you once filled.”
Tash promised to raise Bayo’s children well and Pastor Kanyari, Sky and Danny.
“With Sky and Danny, we built more than a family; we built a house. A house full of laughter, healing and hope. A house where every corner had your gentleness, your wisdom, your music and your prayers that haunted us at night. Sky and Danny will remain the center of my devotion and the continuation of your light. Everything you wished for them, everything you built for them, I will respect. They will always be loved and protected. Nothing they wish for will be left unfulfilled,” he said as the mourners cheered.
Remembering the day they got married, December 17, 2021, Tash told more about his wife – things that many did not know.
“I will never forget the day we stood together at our traditional Kikuyu wedding. At that moment, I knew that I was not only marrying a woman, but I was joining my life with a purposeful person full of compassion. You entered my world with love that healed what was broken, strengthened what was weak and illuminated what was dim.“
